Weld taps Evans Treasurer to lead county finance department

A former treasurer and deputy city manager for the City of Evans has been picked to lead Weld County’s finance department, according to county officials

Jacque Troudt has been appointed as the county’s new Chief Financial Officer, as announced by the Weld County Board of Commissioners.

“Jacque’s extensive experience in public finance and her strong leadership background make her an excellent addition to Weld County,” said Weld County Commissioner Chair Scott James. “Her knowledge of local government and commitment to sound financial management will help ensure the county continues to provide responsible, efficient services to our residents.”

According to officials, Troudt brings more than 20 years of experience in public-sector finance and strategic planning to the position. Her most recent roles were Deputy City Manager, Chief Financial Officer, and Treasurer for the City of Evans.
