MARION, Ark. — A Marion Police officer was dismissed Monday after a review of his employment records.
Alvin Trey Bynum is off the job after the city of Marion says discrepancies were found in his work history. The police department says he excluded employment at other law enforcement agencies.
There was no further comment Tuesday from anyone with Marion Police or City Hall about the dismissal, or why the death of a teenager was mentioned in a statement about his dismissal.
