ROTTERDAM, N.Y. (NEWS10) — Wagon Train BBQ, located at 671 Mariaville Road in Rotterdam, will be moving locations and is set to go through a rebrand. Owner Richard Frederick made the announcement on the restaurant’s Facebook page on May 15.

“Our current chapter is coming to an end as we prepare to move from this location that so many of us have called home for the past decade and a half,” said Frederick. “These walls hold countless memories, friendships, celebrations, struggles, victories, and moments that I will carry with me forever.”
Wagon Train BBQ is set to move to Whispering Pines Golf Course at 2200 Helderberg Avenue in Rotterdam. With the move, Frederick said they will be able to offer expanded services with a larger state-of-the-art building and kitchen.

“We are not just moving locations — we are evolving. We are rebranding, rebuilding, and creating something even more heartfelt, community-driven, welcoming, and memorable,” said Frederick. “A place where great food, good company, and genuine connection come can together in a whole new way.”
