CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – For the first time, Mecklenburg County District Attorney Spencer Merriweather is sitting down with WBTV to answer questions about why his office was cited in Mecklenburg County’s denial of a WBTV information request to social services in the wake of Dominique Moody’s death.
WBTV previously reported on how extensively Mecklenburg County’s Department of Social Services had been involved at a home where a 6-year-old child died after severe abuse and neglect in December.
