As summer approaches, the Hopkinsville-Christian County Boys and Girls Club has a lot on its itinerary, including the start of the Tween Center’s construction and the launch of a new literacy program.
At August’s Great Future’s Luncheon, Boys and Girls Club Executive Director Terrence Davis announced their plans to construct a Tween Center for younger middle school-age kids who are too young for the Teen Center. During Wednesday’s Early Bird Show, Davis shared that the center will be designated space for sixth and seventh graders, and will include robotics and STEM activities.
A groundbreaking ceremony for the Tween Center will be hosted on Thursday at 3 p.m., and Davis says they plan to have a ribbon-cutting for the center in October…
