Man in custody following report of attempted abduction near Battle Creek elementary school

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — A man is in custody after a report of an attempted abduction near a Battle Creek elementary school on Tuesday morning.

The Battle Creek Police Department (BCPD) said around 8 a.m., officers were dispatched to 306 Champion Street, near Ann J. Kellogg School, for a report of an attempted abduction.
