STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — A fire at a Staten Island residence injured six responding firefighters and caused significant damage to an Oakwood home on Wednesday afternoon.
Firefighters responded to the blaze at about 12:58 p.m., during which temperatures hovered around 90 degrees, according to an FDNY spokesperson.
