Storm disrupts Staten Island Railway service during Wednesday evening commute

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Wednesday evening’s commute was disrupted as strong storms moved across the borough, bringing heavy rain and hazardous conditions that affected public transportation.

The MTA issued a service advisory Wednesday evening announcing suspended service on part of the Staten Island Railway line.
