WNY VA Medical Center receives funding for facility upgrades

BUFFALO, N.Y. — The VA WNY Healthcare System (VAWNYHS) has announced that they have received funding for upgrades to Veterans Hospital in Buffalo.

Three major projects have been approved for the hospital, totaling over $6 million in investments by the VA. The investments are part of a $4.8 billion spending campaign by the VA, which is meant to modernize facilities across the country.

“Improved facilities, equipment and infrastructure mean better care for veterans, and these funds will enable the VA Western New York Healthcare System to achieve that goal,” Danielle Bergman, executive director at VAWNYHS, said in a statement…
