FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A Fresno neighborhood is regaining a part of its history after it was destroyed five months ago.
A pillar at the corner of Palm and Simpson Avenues is being rebuilt after a DUI driver crashed into it in December. The pillar was originally a marker for an early neighborhood development called “Boulevard Gardens.”
It was on Tuesday whe officials, including Fresno Mayor Jerry Dyer, gathered to talk about the project to restore the pillar.
