Man convicted in 2022 DUI hit-and-run that killed Ole Miss student freed early

OXFORD, Miss. (WMC) – A judge has suspended the 10-year prison sentence passed down to the man who pleaded guilty to the 2022 DUI hit-and-run of two Ole Miss students, which killed one.

Seth Garron Rokitka‘s attorney, State Representative Kevin Horan (R-34), asked for a review of his sentence, citing his “good behavior.”

Rokitka will be immediately freed from prison so long as he maintains good behavior, and then placed on a five-year parole. He will also be allowed to return to Collierville, Tennessee, where he resided before he was incarcerated in Mississippi…
