Habitat for Humanity of Ventura County is planning a new affordable housing development in Ojai that will bring five tiny homes to local families priced out of the traditional housing market.
The Montgomery Street Tiny Homes project, expected to break ground in summer 2026, will include two tiny home duplexes and one single-family home designed to fit the character of the neighborhood while expanding affordable homeownership opportunities.
“We’re proving that affordable homeownership doesn’t require massive developments,” said Habitat Ventura CEO Darcy Taylor. “These five tiny homes will create real opportunities for Ojai families who work here and contribute here.”…
