Community gets look at planned upgrades to Michael J. Ellis Seawall on Padre Island

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — People who live on Padre Island, or visit the area to enjoy the beach and surf, can expect changes to the Michael J. Ellis Seawall in the coming months.

The City of Corpus Christi hosted a community meeting Wednesday to give residents and visitors a closer look at planned upgrades to the seawall and a timeline for when construction could be completed.
