Chicago-based Giordano’s has officially announced that it will open its first DMV location on Tuesday, June 9, in downtown Washington, D.C. A video preview can be seen below.
The restaurant, famous for its stuffed deep-dish pizza, is opening in the roughly 7,000-square-foot space at 600 14th St. NW near Metro Center. The location was previously home to MXDC Cocina Mexicana before the restaurant relocated to another space on 14th Street in late 2023.
Giordano’s recently indicated it was targeting an “early summer” debut, with signage at the restaurant earlier this year pointing toward a late spring opening. Hiring had also been underway in recent months as the company prepared for its launch…
