HAMBURG, N.Y. (WIVB) — The Hamburg community was reeling Thursday night after it was learned that a Frontier Middle School student died, prompting a message to parents by the principal.
WIVB News 4 received many concerned emails regarding the child’s passing and we’re now working to learn more about what happened. At this time, nothing is confirmed regarding the nature of the student’s death or the circumstances surrounding it.
Frontier Middle School Principal Daniel Charland sent a letter out Thursday afternoon addressed to parents and guardians at the school, writing: “It is with profound sorrow that I write to inform you of the passing of one our students. This loss is heartbreaking and sudden. Our hearts are with the family as they navigate this incredibly difficult time.”
“Our student was a sweet member of our school community, known for their smile, gracious heart, and academic curiosity,” Principal Charland said. “In their time at Frontier Middle School, our student touched the lives of many, both students and staff.”…
