The City of Niagara Falls has agreed to pay nearly $1.5 million to settle three lawsuits tied to a violent police pursuit that ended in a multi-vehicle crash and left several innocent people injured.
The proposed settlement – totaling $1.425 million – stems from a September 6th, 2021 collision at the intersection of Hyde Park Boulevard and Jerauld Avenue where a pursuit involving Niagara Falls Police and a suspected gunman spiraled into a chain-reaction crash.
