CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — During a bond hearing held Thursday, officials revealed new details about what led up to a shooting outside the Montgomery County Courthouse involving a streamer known as “Chud the Builder.”
Dalton Eatherly, known online as “Chud the Builder,” was charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault, employing a firearm during a dangerous felony and reckless endangerment with a deadly weapon for his involvement in a shooting that took place outside the courthouse along Millennium Plaza on Wednesday, May 13.

During Eatherly’s livestream, he claimed the incident began when a man outside the courthouse pointed and laughed at him. Eatherly claims he walked away after interacting with the man, but the man followed him and started punching him, which is when Eatherly said he drew his weapon.
An investigator testified that surveillance video from the courthouse showed Eatherly approach a man with a selfie stick before walking away. The defense said the man was then seen grabbing Eatherly and placing him in a headlock before shots were fired…
