Music, dancing and homemade Russian favorites are all on the menu this weekend as Erie’s Troika Festival returns for another year.
Organizers said food preparations began months ago, and now crews are busy setting up for the three-day celebration outside of the Russian Old Rite Orthodox Church of the Nativity.

The festival runs Friday through Sunday and will feature entertainment, cultural performances and activities for the whole family, rain or shine.
Father Pimen Simon, director of the Church of the Nativity of Christ said, “Many people tell me they love the food here, and they love the entertainment, and they love the setting overlooking the bayfront, so I think if you’ve never come to the Troika Festival, give it a try, you’ll be happy you have; people come back year after year telling us it’s one of their favorite festivals.”…
