KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Officials with Zoo Knoxville officially announced the name of an African lion cub born in February, one of the newer additions to the pride.
His name is Bisky (pronounced Bis-key, according to officials), and he was born to first-time parents Zahra and Maji on Feb. 17. He got his name from donors and supporters of the zoo, officials said, and he has been living in the Valley of the Kings since April.
Officials said Bisky weighs about 27 pounds, and he is eating a combination of formula and meat. They said he is becoming more playful and energetic by the day…
