Man convicted of first-degree murder in 2022 south Land Park shooting

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — The Sacramento District Attorney’s Office announced Thursday that a man was convicted of first-degree murder in connection with a 2022 shooting in South Land Park.

Officials said in a press release, “D’Anthony Chaney was convicted by a jury of first-degree murder with the special allegation of personally discharging a firearm causing death, found true. He was also convicted of being a felon in possession of a firearm.”
