SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO)– Sioux Falls drivers will face new closures and detours starting this week, as work ramps up on the Arrowhead Parkway corridor and next week on a downtown railroad crossing project.

Arrowhead Parkway will be closed between Veterans Parkway and Highline Avenue as crews begin reconstruction on the west side of the Arrowhead Parkway/Veterans Parkway intersection starting Thursday.
Brad Ludens, Principal Engineer with the City of Sioux Falls said today they’re in the process of swapping lane closures from east to west.
“We’re in the process of switching traffic over, up until today, the east leg of the Arrowhead Parkway and Veterans Parkway intersection has been closed, “Ludens said. “We’re going to be opening up that east leg today and then closing down the west leg.”…
