Buffalo Police investigate Thursday afternoon shooting

BUFFALO, N.Y. — A Buffalo man is being treated for injuries that are not considered to be life-threatening after a shooting that happened in the City of Buffalo.

The shooting happened shortly past 4 p.m. Thursday on the first block of Zelmer Street, between Doat and Genesee streets. That’s where Buffalo Police found a man with a gunshot wound to the leg. He was taken by ambulance to Erie County Medical Center, city officials told 2 On Your Side.
