Restaurants feel the pinch as gas prices deter customers

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – With gas prices on the rise, restaurants are reporting that they are feeling the strain in more ways than one.

According to Penn Station in Moraine, fewer people are coming in during key rush hours due to higher gas prices.

Likewise, Rody Pennington, a shift manager at Penn Station, said he had to quit DoorDash recently because of the high gas prices, as he could not afford to drive and deliver due to the rising costs.
