GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – Kyle Busch, a two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion who won more races than anyone across NASCAR’s three national series, has died after being hospitalized suddenly. Busch was 41.
Busch won a Truck Series race last weekend and was set to compete at the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway this coming weekend.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. said in a statement, “Kyle was one of the greatest drivers in NASCAR history. No one can deny that. But he was also a father, a husband, brother, son, and a friend to many. My heart is broken for the Busch family.”
Denny Hamlin, a NASCAR driver and Busch’s former teammate, reacted on social media, saying, “Absolutely cannot comprehend this news. We just need to think of his family during this time. We love you K-B.”
