ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A new outdoor sculpture exhibit is making its debut this weekend at Seneca Park Zoo.
The immersive exhibit, “Tales of Conservation,” features 12 sculptures of animals that have been brought back from the brink of extinction, including the peregrine falcon, black rhinoceros and cheetah.
Organizers said each featured animal has a conservation success story connected to the work of zoos. The exhibit is designed for visitors of all ages, with opportunities for exploration, photos and hands-on learning throughout the zoo.
The exhibit officially opens Saturday and will run through Aug. 18…
