Caitlin Clark has easily become a steadfast icon in Indiana, long before she could play for the Fever franchise. Clark made a name for herself while she was with the Iowa Hawkeyes, but it looks like the hooper had other opinions regarding her college decision in the past.
Clark revealed in her latest ‘Post Moves’ appearance that she also considered Notre Dame as an option for her collegiate basketball career for a long time. However, something pushed her to join Iowa instead, which clearly paid off.
“I told Muffett McGraw I was going to go there, and then I had to call her like, no, I actually changed my mind. I tell people this, I like Notre Dame. Like, it’s Notre Dame, obviously their tradition, and I grew up watching Skylar Diggins. I was like in high school or about to start high school when Enrique made those two game winners, like that was a core memory for me.”Caitlin Clark said.
