ELMWOOD, La (WVUE) – For nearly a decade, Elmwood shoppers have waited to see what would become of a vacant, grassy lot that once housed the area’s Kmart.
The store’s closure and demolition left a massive hole in one of Jefferson Parish’s busiest corridors.
