At Kain Tayo, Filipino cuisine and music bring St. Louis together

What do you get when you combine Filipino cuisine and on-demand karaoke?

For Randy and Sally Arcega and their son, Jeross, the combination of food and music is reminiscent of beloved family traditions that have traveled acround the world and have found space in St. Louis’ Midtown neighborhood.

Since the Arcegas opened Kain Tayo in 2023, they’ve made their dining room feel like home to many Filipino St. Louisans. There’s folk art on the walls, and the karaoke setup in the front of the restaurant can be enjoyed by patrons at any time.
