AUBURNDALE, Florida — A 25-year-old man from Auburndale has been arrested for not reporting a fatal crash he was involved in last year, according to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.
Dylan Perry Willey, age 25, of Auburndale, was taken into custody on May 21, 2026, and charged with leaving the scene of a crash involving death, a first-degree felony. The crash, which occurred on May 12, 2025, claimed the life of 20-year-old Zackeriah Zalin Lamon-Kemp of Lake Alfred.
The incident took place at around 10:13 p.m. on Old Lake Alfred Road near Keystone Road. Lamon-Kemp was struck from behind by Willey’s 2014 Dodge Charger while riding a Hover electric bicycle. During the preliminary investigation, Willey informed detectives that he believed he had hit a hog and continued driving approximately one mile to his home.
