‘Just broke me so bad’: Lansing family seeks action after child was assaulted at preschool

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — A Lansing family is outraged after seeing a video of their child being thrown to the ground by a now-former Ingham Intermediate School District employee at Pine Street Head Start.

The video was posted to social media by the young boy’s mother, who told 6 News that what she was initially told and what she saw in the video didn’t match up.

On April 28, Kayla Moon sent her 4-year-old son, Khalil, to school. Later that day, she received a call about an incident involving her son.

“They said that a teacher was blocking him, and he fell backwards,” Moon told 6 News. “So, I just kind of assumed it wasn’t too serious.”…
