SHIAWASSEE COUNTY, MI – A planned power outage by Consumers Energy, in partnership with ITC Michigan, will leave more than 2,300 customers in Byron without power for several hours next week.
The planned outage is scheduled to begin at 11 p.m. Friday, May 29, and run until 7 a.m. at the latest on Saturday, May 30, to allow for equipment upgrades in the Shiawassee County community.
“We know losing power under any circumstance can be difficult for our customers,” said Steve Herrygers, senior executive director of high voltage distribution in a statement. “We’re working closely with ITC Michigan to complete necessary repairs and system upgrades that will strengthen reliability and help us continue delivering safe, dependable service to the community.”…
