GARRETSON, S.D. (KELO) — Memorial Day is typically a busy time for campgrounds, and the sites at Palisades State Park near Garretson are no exception.
It’s a rainy and windy Friday morning at Palisades State Park. Despite the conditions, there were still a few people out and about, including Scott Grosch, who made the trip from O’Neill, Nebraska, and Seth Sigafoos of Baltic.

“We enjoy Palisades, and this first camping trip of the year, we stay a little close because you always forget things on the first camping trip of the year,” Sigafoos said.
