MOUNT HOLLY, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Eastern Gaston County now has more biking trials.
The Mount Holly Parks and Recreation Department announced the addition of two new downhill flow mountain bike trials. They are now open and can be found at Mountain Island Park.
These new trails are located on the Lake Trails side of the park, just off the new parking lot across from the Riverbend Recycling Center. They were built by the nonprofit Tarheel Trailblazers, who also will maintain them.
