18-year-old killed after being t-boned in Madera County

MADERA COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – An 18-year-old Madera County man was killed after crashing into a tree on Friday morning.

Officers say he was driving his Ford Escape down Road 28 ½, and making his way through the intersection of Avenue 21 around 10:30 a.m., when he was t-boned by a Jeep Cherokee heading west.

The impact pushed the Ford off the roadway and into a nearby pistachio tree.

Unfortunately, he died at the scene. The 59-year-old driver of the Jeep sustained minor injuries and is expected to recover…
