15-year-old boy fires gun at car along Edmonds waterfront, injuring 1, police say

EDMONDS, Wash. — A 15-year-old boy from Bellevue is in custody after allegedly shooting into a vehicle along the Edmonds waterfront, striking and injuring one of four passengers, police said.

Officers responded to a reported shooting in the 400 block of Admiral Way near the Anthony’s parking lot just after 1:10 a.m. Saturday. Police said two groups of people at the waterfront, some of whom knew one another and had a history of dispute, became involved in an argument that escalated.

One of the parties, a group of four girls between the ages of 17 and 20, three from Lynnwood and one from Marysville, fled in a vehicle when the suspect allegedly fired at the car…
