Man accused of ramming stolen truck into police vehicles appears in court

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – A man accused of ramming a stolen pickup into police vehicles in Kalaeloa appeared in court Friday.

Dane Na Hoo Ikaika O Kalalea Lemes-Keller, 34, was charged Thursday with assault on a law enforcement officer, second-degree assault, unauthorized control of a propelled vehicle, criminal property damage, terroristic threatening, and promoting a dangerous drug.

According to court documents, the charges stem from a May 19 incident in which four police officers and a corporal were searching for Lemes-Keller on an outstanding $30,000 warrant.
