Long Island’s chicken finger craze is about to get a little louder.
Raising Cane’s, the fast-growing chain known for its chicken finger meals, Texas toast and signature Cane’s sauce, is planning three Long Island restaurants — including its first locations in both Suffolk and Nassau counties.
A Raising Cane’s rep confirmed to Greater Long Island that the company is eyeing new restaurants in Commack, Carle Place and Farmingdale, with each project in a different stage of development.
The Long Island plans come as Raising Cane’s continues expanding in the New York area. The company opened its first Queens drive-thru restaurant on May 13 at 230-13 Merrick Blvd. in Laurelton.
Founded by Todd Graves in 1996 at Louisiana State University, Raising Cane’s has grown from a college-town chicken finger shop into a national brand with hundreds of locations across the U.S. and beyond…
