(KRON) — An unlicensed driver recently had their truck impounded after they were caught hauling an unsafe load, according to the California Highway Patrol Hayward area office.
CHP Hayward said officers stopped the truck after it was spotted traveling 15 mph in a 40-mph zone with its hazard lights on.
The driver was issued a citation, and the unsafe load was removed from the roadway.
CHP added, “Reminder: If your load requires crossed fingers, hazard lights, and pure optimism to make it down the road, it probably shouldn’t be there in the first place.”…
