Two motorists were arrested in Ocala after an alleged street race on SE Maricamp Road reached speeds exceeding 100 mph.
Shortly after 6 p.m. on Monday, May 11, an FHP trooper was conducting traffic enforcement near the intersection of SE Maricamp Road and Pine Road in Ocala. The traffic signal was red, and two vehicles – a Dodge Charger and Subaru sedan – were stopped in the eastbound travel lanes of Maricamp Road, according to an arrest report.
