Little Rock, AR – Jonesboro Media Group – KDXY-FM/HD 104.9 The Fox was named Arkansas Radio Station of the Year at the Arkansas Broadcast Excellence luncheon Friday at the Wyndham Hotel in North Little Rock.
The event was sponsored by the Arkansas Broadcast Association to honor superior radio and television broadcast performance. “We received over 70 entries this year,” said Neal Gladner, executive director of the ABA. “It’s obvious there are some great broadcasters doing a great job across our state.”
KDXY (The Fox) has been on the air as a mainstream country radio station since March, 1997. To be named statewide Radio Station of the Year a station must demonstrate an overall excellence. Factors considered include programming, promotions, community relations and service, public affairs/public service programming, and station awards and recognition.
