Spotty showers early this morning favor portions of southern Kansas, with a few rumbles of thunder possible.
Temperatures start cool and turn mild for the afternoon.
Highs reach the 70s for most today.
We could still keep a few isolated storms going, with an uptick in coverage toward the afternoon and evening.
One or two could be strong, especially toward the southwest.
Storms continue to hang around in the evening.
Temperatures stay cool overnight, with a couple of showers lingering early in the night.
Sunday looks a little warmer and drier as temperatures reach up to the 80s.
A few isolated storms will be possible mainly to the north Sunday afternoon.
Again, one or two could be strong.
Memorial Day looks quieter and a bit warmer, but still tracking fairly close to seasonal averages.
Spotty, random storms remain as our main feature for the coming week, with increasing coverage for the middle and later half of the week.
Severe weather is not impossible, but there will be a general lack of support in the upper atmosphere for anything organized. The rainfall these storms bring is more than welcome!
