CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Smoke was seen billowing from the roof of a house just south of Uptown Saturday, prompting a large response from the Charlotte Fire Department.
Crews were sent at around 1 p.m. to the home on Spruce Street, just off of West Boulevard near I-77. The eastbound lanes of West Boulevard were diverted at Revolution Park Drive as a precaution. The lane closure also impacted I-77 Southbound traffic exiting at West Blvd.
