(PINPOINT WEATHER) — Good evening and happy Saturday!
It has been a cloudy, cool, and dreary day across the Carolinas, with more showers on the way this evening as well as Sunday. In fact, the unsettled weather will be sticking around with us right through the middle of next week. While making for less-than-ideal holiday weekend weather, the rain will help to make a difference in some of the drought conditions we are dealing with.
As for tonight and your Sunday, scattered showers are expected to continue this evening with the bulk of the wet weather down in the sandhills. More wet weather is possible around Charlotte during the overnight hours with lows in the mid-60s.
Sunday will start off with some isolated showers, with more widespread wet weather possible later in the day and during the evening hours, with highs in the mid-70s.
Memorial Day will likely bring more of the same, with more showers and storms possible during the afternoon hours, with highs in the upper 70s. Our unsettled pattern will also continue when everyone goes back to work with more hit and miss showers and storms with highs in the low 80s…
