EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The Camino Real Regional Utility Authority (CRRUA) says it is making progress on a project designed to reduce noise at the Riverside Vacuum Station.
The utility is also working to find a permanent infrastructure solution at that facility with an eye toward reducing noise, they said.
Approximately five months ago, CRRUA completed temporary repairs that helped reduce noise levels to a “more manageable level while the utility continued development of a long-term solution,” the utility said.
CRRUA is currently creating a temporary bypass system intended to allow shutdown of the exterior blower equipment, which remains the primary source of the noise, the utility said…
