POLICE AUDIO CAN BE FOUND AT THE END OF THIS ARTICLE: Law enforcement received a call around 4:07pm on May 22nd after reports of menacing with a weapon at Pine Woods Park in North Tonawanda.
The 911 caller told police that a woman near an agitated female carrying a large knife was walking a small dog. The female suspect was complaining to the 911 caller about some federal money that she is owed and not getting. The female suspect then entered a silver vehicle – described as a sedan – that was parked by the pavilion.
Police responded to the scene and observed a sedan near the pavilion driving away. The vehicle refused to pull for police. The woman drove down Twin City Highway and got on the I290 which is when local police terminated their pursuit. No further information is available at this time…
