PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. (WATE) — A person was taken into custody after a man was injured in a shooting, the city of Pigeon Forge said.
Around 2:30 a.m. Sunday, someone called officers about shots fired at a cabin development in the city. When the officers arrived, they found a man who had been shot in the stomach, the city said.

The suspect, who had remained at the scene, was taken into custody without incident, while the victim was taken to the University of Tennessee Medical Center, the city said. As of Sunday afternoon, the victim was recovering after surgery.
