Tropical moisture fuels week of scattered showers and thunderstorms

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Showers and storms are possible for the rest of the day with temperatures near 90 degrees. Heavy rain, gusty wind and frequent lightning will be possible in any storm. A few spots could pick up over an inch of rain depending on where the storms develop.

Patchy fog will develop overnight, especially for those areas that saw activity today.

Memorial Day will feature more of the same. We will see a partly to mostly cloudy sky with highs near 90 degrees. Showers and storms are likely in the afternoon and evening. Coverage will not be as widespread as what we saw on Sunday…
