OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – An Omaha Police officer and another driver were sent to the hospital after a crash on Interstate 80 Saturday night.
Omaha Police told First Alert 6 an officer, identified as Officer Jason Stinson, was blocking a lane of eastbound I-80 for a road hazard near 13th street with the cruiser’s lights on.
OPD says a Nissan was driving at highway speeds when it rear-ended the cruiser. An investigation did not find any signs that the Nissan attempted to stop prior to hitting the car…
