Working to keep community safe and strong

My name is Edwin Paul Linson. I grew up in New Mexico and have called Rio Rancho home since 1994. Sandoval County has been great for my family, and I’m running for county commissioner in District 3 to help keep our community strong and safe.

I served for over 23 years in law enforcement as a detective, chief of police, and public safety professional. My six years with the Sandoval County Sheriff’s Office have shown me how county decisions impact residents and first responders. I’ve managed budgets, understand county policies, and know our challenges and opportunities.

I also owned a small business for 20 years, so I understand the challenges facing working families and local business owners. My father, a U.S. Marine, taught me hard work, service and integrity. My wife and I have five children and four grandchildren, and we live in Rio Rancho. I want our community to be safe and thriving for future generations.
