EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — An Evansville man with a prior theft conviction was arrested early Monday morning after police say he stole two televisions from a private corporate loading dock on Memorial Day.
The Evansville Police Department arrested 34-year-old Ayenda Lomax, charging him with Level 6 felony theft with a prior unrelated conviction and Class A misdemeanor criminal trespass. Court records show Lomax was previously convicted of theft in July 2023.
Officers responded to a theft in progress at the business located on NW Second Street, at approximately 5:20 a.m.. Security personnel reported that a man had just stolen two televisions from their loading dock and fled the scene…
